Flat stainless steel wire belt

Flat Flex & Enrober Belts

DuraHinge® and DuraFlex hinged stainless steel belts for enrobing and breading lines.

Flat Flex & Enrober Belts.

Looking for a flat flex belt or an enrober belt? As an authorised distributor of Cambridge Engineered Solutions, Wire Belt Systems supplies DuraHinge® and DuraFlex belts: flat stainless steel belts that hinge instead of flexing. That means less metal fatigue, edges that stay flat, and a belt that tracks properly.

Both belts are built as longer-lasting replacements for conventional flex-style belting on chocolate and confectionery enrobers, breaders and coating lines.

DuraHinge® or DuraFlex?

Two hinged stainless steel alternatives to flex-style belting from Cambridge Engineered Solutions.

DuraHinge® Belts

For breading and enrobing lines where belt life matters most.

  • Fully hardened, spring-tempered stainless steel, rated 30% stronger than half-hard flex-style belting (manufacturer)
  • Patented compound Z-bend hinges instead of flexing, reducing stress at each contact point
  • Recessed edges lie flat, reducing snags, edge curl and tangling
  • Belt widths from 305 mm to 3,048 mm
  • Stainless steel or acetal sprockets from 1″ to 4″

DuraFlex Belts

Easy-to-join enrober line belts.

  • Kwik Connect splice rods join the belt in as little as 30 seconds
  • The strip is not bent during a splice, so no weak point is created
  • Hinges in both directions, so the belt tracks properly and the edges do not wing up
  • Up to 39 times more duty cycles than flex-style belting in the manufacturer's testing
  • Widths from 102 mm to 3,658 mm, with 9.5 mm or 12.7 mm pitch
  • Stainless steel strip and rod, with stainless steel or acetal sprockets
